Conveyancing Foundation reaches £900,000 Charity Fundraising Milestone

Thanks to the hard work of Convey Law conveyancers over the years, the generosity of our clients and the dedication of those working with The Conveyancing Foundation, we have now reached the incredible milestone of over £900,000 raised for charity.

The money was mainly raised by Convey Law conveyancers and clients through the Conveyancing Foundation’s Charity Lotto where clients take part for a small donation at the end of their transactions for the chance of winning £500 towards their fees.

That simple and regular act has meant worlds of difference for charities across Wales, the UK and even internationally, many of which have been nominated by staff from the Convey Group as deserving. These range from cancer charities to animal rescue charities to groups helping with the homeless as well as those looking after elderly people and children.

Funds have also been boosted by company and individual charity fundraising events over the years.

One of the key charities helped by the Foundation has been the Ty Hafan Childen’s Hospice in Penarth, which provides palliative care to children and vital support for their families. Over £375,000 has been donated to Ty Hafan alone through the Charity Lotto and through fundraising events spearheaded by our Managing Director Lloyd Davies, who became Ty Hafan’s first Corporate Ambassador in recognition of his charity work for the hospice.

Thank you to everyone for their hard work in continuing to promote and take part in the Charity Lotto. It really has changed and improved lives for so many!
