Whilst we pride ourselves on our high performing culture, we love to have fun in work and enjoy collaboration days where we all get together for training and team building activities to support our regular charity fundraising.

The Role

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Software Development Project Manager to join our growing IT team in which you will be given exposure to new and exciting technologies and the opportunity for continual development and learning. This role is fully remote with the need to come into office on infrequent basis. This is an exciting role in developing systems to support cutting edge technology within the sphere of legal conveyancing systems. Among your key responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and manage a detailed development roadmap, manage project timelines, and allocate resources to meet deliverables.

  • Lead Agile meetings such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, propose solutions, and implement strategies to mitigate project disruptions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project status updates, managing expectations, and facilitating communication between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project scope, timelines, technical requirements, testing and user guides/release articles.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within project management practices and drive their implementation across teams.
  • Manage own work allocation, productivity, and quality of work with minimum supervision.

The Rewards

Working for Convey365 will give you a rewarding career with a competitive salary. In addition to being part of a Company that will support you through our training and wellbeing programmes and recognition schemes, we offer a substantial benefits provision. This includes flexibility in working arrangements, company sick pay, discount schemes and the ability to purchase additional leave. We also feel birthdays are to be celebrated so give you an additional leave day in the month of your birthday.

The Individual

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable values and ethics that mirror our own culture values and to be successful in the recruitment process you will need to evidence at least 5 years’ experience of the following in your CV:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management within software development.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end software development projects.
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall environments.
  • Strong knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Ability to build and maintain working relationships with others and is seen as ‘approachable’.
  • Excellent documentation skills including High Level and Technical Specifications, User Guides etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A solid understanding of key technical concepts, tools, and challenges faced by the development team to effectively bridge communication between stakeholders and developers.
  • Ability to engage with complex technical topics and contribute to both high-level and detailed project specifications.
